Show kind feelings to others. |
your skies are dark
And days are grey
Because you have no love
To light your way
~Krystal R. Kordell
We humans are so strange beings despite knowing our limitations we expect supernatural and inhuman things and behaviors from others. Even if we don't admit it in front of them but in our mind we want them to be psychic or mind readers.
Yes, we Are gonna talk about this behavior or urge us to not express our needs, wants, and problems to other but to expect them to know it themselves.
Recollect your school essays about humans in which we used to mention our lingual ability. That we are superior and better than other species because of can talk and express ourselves more comprehensively to each other than any other species yet found on earth.
But nowadays we want our close ones to get us without saying or telling anything to them. Which I found completely senseless.
Why do we want others to understand us without expressing anything?
The answer to this question is not clear to me yet, but I guess it gives us some sort of feeling of importance to that person. Or probably we want to make our mind understand that this particular person is special or we have a special bond between us which let us understand each other's emotions and needs without the exchange of a single word. Some people argue that if we have spent a long period with somebody we somehow become predictable to that person that's why we expect them to understand us, with which I agree. It happens that when we spent time with somebody we become predictable to them to some extent.
Why is it impossible?
Even though we can be predictable and understanding, still a lot of things happen to us in a day. We have a lot of work to complete, we met dozens of people and it is just not possible to be always efficient to predict others' behavior. Also, it put a strain on your mind.
As humans, we should be kind and expressive. If we are hurt because of someone's words we should let them know it. If you feel someone is anxious around you go, give him strength, and ask politely. We should make life easier for one another instead of setting such dumn standards of love and compatibility.
I remember there's someone I loved and respect a lot. Once we fought. I had done a lot of wrong to that person in past but I could never show my regret. Then I met another human, he taught me that if I want to revive that person back in my life, I should talk to them. I should tell'm that how much sorry I felt for all my wrongdoings and also how important they're in my life otherwise I will lose that person. I am grateful to that human who teaches me this and I hope you guys can also get this point that we need to express and talk things out. No matter if it's with our parents, spouse, friends, siblings, or any other person. Talking things out can always bring effective and transparent results.
Which type of person you are and what thoughts do you have about expressing your feelings?
